Large Self-Priming Pump Lineup
Addition of 300 mm and 350 mm Bores

Yokota Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has added large self-priming pumps with bore diameters of 300 mm and 350 mm (photo) to the UB type series. Prices start from 3.5 million yen (tax excluded) for the 300 mm bore pump. A demand for the use of the pump in pumping large amounts of water, such as for water intake, is anticipated.
The company's self-priming pumps are designed to pump water by separating and discharging the air from the water suctioned into the pump using centrifugal force. Previously, the maximum processing ability of the UB type series pump was approximately 12 cubic meters per minute with the 250 mm bore pump. With the greatly enhanced self-priming performance achieved by improving the company's original self-priming mechanism, the 350 mm bore pump can now process approximately 23 cubic meters of water per minute.
