Simple construction, Low price

Available at low prices due to the simple, single-disk construction.

Applicable to any kind of liquid

The valve can be applied for use with various kinds of liquid ranging from pure water to seawater, contaminated water and chemical liquid as it can be made from YOKOTA's duplex type stainless steel YST130N (see note below).

Reduction of water hammer (SL-SW type)

A helical torsion spring is attached to the valve arm pin which allows adjustment of the spring force necessary for valve closure. This patented mechanism eliminates the valve closure delay and reduces water hammer. (Except material code T)

 Note: Advantages of YOKOTA's duplex type stainless steel YST130N.

Excellent crevice and pitting corrosion resistance in marine environments.

Excellent corrosion resistance to chemicals such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and nitric acid.

Remarkable mechanical strength, being nearly twice as strong as general JIS materials.

The by-pass valve and pipe attaching bolts and nuts are optional parts.

P shows the approximate dimension of valve disk overhang when the valve is fully open.

Valves with a bore of 80mm or less are made of stainless steel castings.

The structure for valves with a bore of 40-80mm is slightly different from the one shown above.

The eyebolts are not attached to valves with a bore of 100mm or less.

The seal ring is subject to change depending on the liquid property.

The dimensions of the pipe attaching bolts and nuts shown apply to a JIS 10K standard steel flange.

Please use JIS 10K standard flanges for connection. JIS 5K or waterworks standard flanges cannot be connected.

Please contact us if flange standard is higher than JIS 16K.

Materials other than standard materials are available. Please inquire.

SL-SW type installation notes

Material code T is only for installation in vertical piping.

Make sure that no other adjacent valve or machine contacts the valve disk taking into account the valve disk overhang dimension P.

Install with the eyebolt at the top for installation in horizontal piping.

The eyebolts are not attached to valves with a bore of 100mm or less. Before starting installation, insert 2 bolts at the bottom and then install the valve with the arm pin bearing at the top.
