The excellent pilot valve mechanism detects abnormalities rapidly and performs
emergency shutoff.
The main valve is safely locked in the closed condition and does not automatically
reset even when normal conditions are restored.
The unique closure mechanism realizes complete water shutoff performance
and leakage prevention in the fully closed condition.
The pilot valve does not have any minute, fixed restriction passage like
a needle valve, and is therefore clog-resistant.
Due to its simple construction, troublesome adjustments are unnecessary.
Being excellent in durability and practically maintenance-free, using this
valve reduces maintenance costs.

1.

When abnormalities such as breakage of a pipe arises at the downstream
side of the main valve, the pressure drops and the flow rate increases
abnormally. Then the differential pressure between the front and the rear
of the main valve is transmitted to the pilot valve, causing pilot A valve
to open, pilot B valve to close, and inlet pressure P1 is applied to the top of the main valve, closing the main valve for emergency
shutoff.
2.
Since pilot B valve remains closed even when the conditions at the downstream
side of the main valve return to normal, the main valve is safely locked
in the closed condition and does not automatically reset.
3.
After confirming safety at the downstream side of the main valve, the reset
operation valve is opened manually or by remote control to release the
pressure on the top of the main valve and open the main valve to start
the water supply. Then, after confirming the water supply, the reset operation
valve is closed.
